Ok so you have decided that your finances might be out of control or you are looking to make sure that you make enough money for what you have going out.

Ok so what a budget does is keeps track of what you spend, what you make and what expenses you have.

It is important to know these things so that when you start to buy new things on credit and payment plans, so that you can afford them.

What we recommend doing is sit down and make some lists:

1. How much does your family brings in?

2. How Much are your bills? (itemized)

3. When does your family get paid?

Then site down with a calendar and figure out which bills are due when.

Then go in and figure when your pay dates are. This way you can figure out which weeks are you going to need more money.

After your done figure out how much money your family brings in, minus the total expenses.

If this makes you cry, then you need to do something.

We would recommend you figure out which bills are not needed and try to work them out. Like if you can pay your car insurance up for 6 months.
